Zouktron Returns. New Date TBA. Following its highly successful launch in May 2021, Zouktron
returns by popular demand.
This one-day intensive comprises of five workshops layered in such a manner as to
provide the student with a firm grasp of techniques and concepts they can
confidently use in any social dance situation. Enjoy the fresh approach to dance and
learning

Zouktron was the brainchild of Hamilton Salsa to introduce their Improver and
Intermediate students to higher level techniques such as Tilted turns and entry level
head movements and concepts such as Flow and sequences employing body
isolations.

 

 

Only $60 for the whole day from 10am in the morning to 5pm in the Afternoon. ($50 if prepaid)

5 Hours of Workshops and 1 hour of Practica. The Workshops will be taken by The Dance factory from Tauranga and C Dance from Auckland.

These workshops are aimed at Improver Level Zouk Dancers with the overall Theme being "Adding Tilted movement to your dance"

Unfortunately this event is not Suitable  for  Beginners.

PARTY

After the Workshops there is a Zouk Party so come and practice what you learnt and even dance with the Teachers and there might even be a light supper.

Instructors

Arthur & Anisa
From the Tauranga based Dance Factory, Arthur and Anisa base their approach to
Zouk on the principles of Flow. This form draws on awareness of connections and
natural movement to shape movement and any improvisation, making the Zouk
dance highly accessible and inclusive.
Dani & Cat
Dani and Luyi style is eclectic. Their approach is a mix of different influences, based
upon their combined 16-year experience with many different instructors from a range
of Zouk styles. They focus on good technique and experimentation that leads to
creativity, fun, and safe social dancing.
